The cake was shaped like a giant tube of lipstick because they both loved lipstick. Everyone in town new about their impressive cake, not least because they deigned to take a full page in the local paper advertising it. Even the mayor had come to take pictures with their cake. Eventually, the best man arrived and said " I hope you're all ready for some bees!" as he released a swarm of bees. Knowing his friend to be a goofball, Alex quickly realized that he had mistakenly heard bees when he was instructed to obtain beets for the beet throwing contest. It soon became apparent that the bees would not do for throwing, and that they were extremely aggressive, so the reception was moved elsewhere. After some more partying, the bride and groom could finally kiss. It was the moment they'd all been waiting for. The kiss was fairly underwhelming, but that was the least of their concerns as at the moment of the kiss, the bride Alex disappeared, leaving only her blonde wig behind.
