Nursing professionals must provide safe and quality patient-centered care that promotes health of body and mind. Many Americans, who suffer from mental disorders, do not receive appropriate treatment due to inadequate access to mental health services. These patients experience co-morbidities, rebound episodes, and repeat hospitalizations.
