Have you ever wondered why you think it is important to vote? Voting is important because veterans fought for us so we could vote and there will be more reasons. I feel like it is very important to vote. Long ago, before 1920 women were not allowed to vote or pretty much do anything, but now they can because of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, and Lucy Stone who were important figures in the women's rights movement. I’m very happy that I know when I am 18 I can vote because of the women who stood up and made sure there was a change made.
