- What do you consider your most significant accomplishment?
My most significant accomplishment as of recently would be that last semester I was able to receive a 4.0 GPA while also being elected to three separate leadership positions that required quite a bit of time from each. I was proud of this accomplishment because it recognized my hard work and my time management skills.

- What assignment was too difficult for you?
I can’t think of an assignment that was “too” difficult because if I am given an assignment I will make sure that it gets completed, but I can think of some more challenging assignments. My most challenging assignment was organizing an event for the alumnae of my sorority and I am currently still in the midst of completing this task. It is challenging because it requires following a strict timeline and making sure that I communicate with others in order to get tasks completed in a timely

I would say I am pretty good at remembering names and small things customers mention to me. I think this is good because hopefully it makes the golfers feel welcome when they show up to Cary Park Golf Course. My first priority is making sure that everything is running smoothly and I am providing quality service to anyone who may call/come in and need my assistance, whether that be making a tee time or purchasing some equipment. Also, I like to find the most efficient way to complete a task as this can save time and allow me to complete more tasks in a period of time. Lastly, I enjoy getting to know my coworkers because it makes being at work more fun and …show more content…
Do you play golf? (why/why not?)

Yes, I enjoy playing golf and I wish I had more time to play golf. It is a great way to get outside and get some exercise/sun. It also can be a fun sport to play with friends even if they don’t have much experience.

I am tempted to say that my most meaningful accomplishment is graduating college but that would not be true. My most meaningful accomplishment is the work I have done during my AmeriCorps Service year volunteering at a New York City Charter School. The school I am at has a class named goal setting, which focuses on encouraging students to take ownership of their education, build important life skills and set goals that will help them achieve success. I am goal setting tutor, which means that I serve as a mentor to a group of five students. I help my students set weekly goals for school, I advocate for them when they are talking to teachers and staff, I give them advice and help them work on problem solving skills.…

I believe that my level of mental and physical fitness has helped me to meet and exceed my goals associated with my accomplishments as many of those accomplishments are related to improving and supporting my mental and physical well-being. For example, some of my accomplishments include my ARCT (Associate of The Royal Conservatory of Music) in piano performance, level 10 violin, black belt in taekwondo, grade 8 ballet, etc. I believe that these accomplishments have not only provided me with a sense of achievement but they have also helped to keep my body and mind in a healthy and responsive state. To add, music was a way in which I was able to escape my stress and focus my energy on something other than school work. In terms of dance and taekwondo,…

A goal is described as the object of a person’s ambition or effort; something that one aims to accomplish. If one has yet to accomplish a goal, it does not mean they failed it, it means they have not yet complete it. When thinking about personal goals there are plenty that I think about on weekly basis. I think about goals that I have already accomplished and others, which I am pursuing and also those that I have yet to figure out. The goals that I have accomplished have been graduating high school and getting into college.…

What accomplishment are you most proud of? This past semester, I first started my position at the University of Iowa’s Office of Sustainability. Soon after, I quickly found myself managing events, learning how to properly create graphics, communicating with students about sustainability on campus, and still trying to maintain a strong GPA for the semester. It took a lot of long nights, and weeks in both the office and the library, but I am very proud that I did not have to compromise on my grade or the work I put into the office.…

Accomplishments I feel as though now that I have not accomplished anything because my GPA only tells that I can retain information, however, I feel as though I have a lot to learn and I am very eager for that knowledge. I feel as though I have accomplished greatness when I walk across that stage with my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree and hand them both to my parents and thank them for all their sacrifices. Both of my parents migrated from Jamaica and left my brother and I behind to provide a better live for us in The United States. My brother and I eventual came to The United States when I was 6 ½ years old in 1990, however, I became an “American kid,” that what my parents would say and disappointed them greatly.…

Final Reflection The most proud of accomplishing to me is that I confidently gave a complete and organized speech at present day. I tried my best to use presentation skills that I have learned from the class and the book. I still remember at the very first speech, even though it was about telling a story and was only 2 minutes, I stammered and felt really nervous. Now, at the end of the semester, I overcame the anxiety, did a lot of research, memorized difficult words, and revised my outline many time; therefore, finally I did a 10 minutes good presentation in front of the class. Since English is not my first language, I know I should make more effort so that I always be strict with myself and grasp every opportunity to practice.…

To be honest, I think success has a lot to do with an individual’s accomplishments. I haven’t done much with my life, and I think I failed at a lot of things I tried. I graduated from high school and never went back to school after that. It’s been almost 12 years since I stepped foot in a classroom not counting parent, teacher conference. I’ve always wanted to go back to school and get my degree, but I ended having a kid, and now I have to work to pay for rent, bills, and food.…

Ever since I was little girl, I have had one accomplishment that I want to fulfill: to study in another country and at the same time, learn about a new culture. My aunt moved from Norway to the U.S. when she was nineteen years old to start college and has lived here ever since. She is my great role model. I have been lucky to be able to visit her many times, in fact, as many as seven. When I started my second year in high school, I wanted to be an exchange student in the United States, but I never had the courage to leave my friends and family.…
