Reflective Essay About My Final Grade

So you asked the entire class and I what do we think our final grade should be, and to me that 's an easy question to answer. I have been in this class everyday and refused to miss a day of work and knowledge just so I may reach my ultimate goal of passing this class. Now if it was up to me on what grade I should receive in my mind and heart I know I deserve an A for my hard work and effort I have put into this class. I came into this class nervous because I knew my weaknesses of writing. I would always stumble on words and I had trouble with subject-verb agreement, but it has not stopped me from teaching myself the right and wrongs of writing. Every essay you would give us the direction on how to write the paper and with the notes from online and the lectures you taught, I slowly but surely grew the confidence to on how to properly write a paper. The day I handed in my first paper I was over powered with happiness because I was so proud that I wrote something that was longer than just five hundred words. Not only did I go past my expectations but I earned a 95 as a grade. Since you said yourself …show more content…
I put all my effort into this paper and I invested more hours into this final paper than I have ever done with any other writing assignment. My goal was to learn how to write in APA and thankfully, I succeeded. I have only known the MLA writing style and had no clue how to even start an APA paper. I researched how to do this paper correctly before I even researched about my actual topic. Once I learned how everything worked in that format I went forward and finally started writing the essay. I hope that the work shows how much effort I put in the paper. I gave up countless hours and received a hand full of head aches from it at the beginning, but at the end I can 't be happier with my result, even though I do not know the grade I will receive on

Since the first day, time has been flying really fast. Starting a fresh new day, meeting the same teachers and same old friends, I still cannot imagine that I am now a senior! In my senior year, there will definitely be a lot of challenges and obstacles for me to conquer, but I believe that as long as I do everything step by step, I can beat down the difficulties in this senior year. When I was in junior year, I often heard last year’s seniors told me how hard is it to come up with a senior project topic, and they kept on reminding me to start thinking of my topic and finding my mentors. Luckily, I had research method class last year, so I knew how to do my APA style references and I had many presentations experiences last year.…

Freshman year of high school is scary for anyone, the enormous transition from being a top dog at middle school, back to an underclassman; wondering if your high school teachers will be as unforgiving as your 8th grade teacher’s descriptions, or even just that uncertainty that comes along with any major change. As a homeschooler entering school system for the first time, and having completely skipped 8th grade, it was terrifying. I had no idea what to expect, I worried about being behind the other students, or having missed something in my homeschooling curriculum, even interacting with other kids was all unfamiliar. It definitely didn’t help that, at 13, I was the youngest person in the building. Just two days into the school year, I discovered that P-AP world…

Upon my entry into English 1010-02, my first college writing class, I expected to breeze through the course with an easy-A and minimal effort after my successful completion of AP English 11 this past year. I began the year with the utmost confidence in my writing abilities, and believed that my skills were above par. It wasn’t until I received my score on the essay evaluation for my First-Week Essay- a measly five out of twenty- that I realized that this was not the case. At first, I was astonished that my seemingly exceptional writing skills had not earned me the A that I believed I deserved. However, as time went on I came to the realization that I had not put in nearly enough time or effort into the paper to receive more than a C at most.…
