English Course Reflection

My first goal for this course is to write fast and naturally. Personally, writing in English is a time-consuming and stressful job for me. It takes me more time time than domestic students to write an essay. A lot of times, I sit in front of my computer for hours trying to figure out what I should write for my next sentence. Even though I thought of what to write in Korean, sometimes it takes me awhile to translate it into English. For these reasons, I sincerely want to write my assignments faster and write it fluently without much consideration about translating it into English, just like a domestic student. I assume that my lack of skills come from lack of experience to writing, since there are only a few English writing assignments in Korea. Therefore, as I get to practice to write about a lot of materials in this course, I expect that I will improve. My second goal is to collaborate with domestic students. I heard that there are different formats of essays so I expect to learn all of them and use it accordingly. Similarly, I assume that presentations are common in any subjects. I anticipate in learning the different ways to effectively deliver messages to the audience. Another style of writing I would likely use is team collaboration. I personally expect a lot of fun with team assignments because there were not much of them during my high school years. I would enjoy sharing ideas and arguing opinions with my classmates. Lastly, the style of writing that I will likely use and would like to learn the most is reports. Report is the most unfamiliar style of writing for me because I have never written a report before. Also, report is a required writing style when it comes to my major, computer science. For these reasons, learning report will be beneficial for my
