What Veteran’s Day Means To Me Veteran’s day is to honor the soldiers who sacrificed their life for our freedom, our country, and our lives. The importance to remember them is because without them we would not have the independence that we have today, therefore we would not be free. My Grandfather was in the Navy, My Uncle was in the Navy, and my Cousin's Grandfather was in the navy. Now let me tell you a little bit about what Veterans day means to me.
