Stanford GSB Application Essay

The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra. I believe that Stanford GSB program can help me achieve that little piece, as important as a reason I give myself to keep going for me and my family. I live in the city of Cupertino. It is one of the most beautiful and well known high tech city in the world. People give the best rating to the best school districts and Apple campus that maintain the profession with high diversification and tolerance. The first time I heard about the Stanford’s story was the time when I join the volunteer program called block leader program of the city of Cupertino. Being a club member of the entrepreneur club in Foothill College, I was told to find different career and business opportunities though self-exploratory based community programs and off-campus learning curriculums. I respect cultural value more than anything else. It might because of the world view I achieve through social communications. Meeting with people from different countries with unique cultural backgrounds, I am deeply influenced by the global entrepreneurial environment that attract all talented people to join the central node of Silicon Valley. The global cities studies course I’v been done again educated me to use critical eye to appreciate and contribute more than to judge to critics. Every time when I drive through the Stanford campus, I smell a new spring as those palm trees wave around, I intentionally slow down to enjoy the graceful movement shared by the weekend-families, young couples and those dynamic student activities.
