The Jung Typology assessment is based on the on the Keirsey Temperament Sorter and the Myers Briggs Personality Inventory. There are four personality type measurements: Extraversion vs. Introversion, Sensing vs. Intuition, Thinking vs. Feeling, and Judging vs. Perceiving. After taking the assessment my personality type was determined to be ESFJ; Extravert (25%), Sensing (44%), Feeling (22%) and Judging (9%). According to the Jung’s theory as an extravert I get energy externally and like human interactions. The next measure was sensing, which has to do with how I receive and perceive information. Sensing gains information from the external world based on concrete information. Feeling is the measure of how I process information. This indicates that my decisions are based on emotion verses logical thinking. Lastly, judging means I like to be organized, follow rules and have a plan. There were several ways that my personality type of ESFJ was accurate. Described as someone who likes the holidays, celebrations, entertaining and giving gifts is true. My report also stated that ESFJs work hard, follow the rules and expect the same from others. I do have a strong work ethic and it really irritates me when I am …show more content…
The Jung theory claims that ESFJs’ feelings are hurt easily and that we don’t hold them back. Described as “wearing their hearts on their sleeves”, they display feelings openly. At times my feelings can be hurt easily but I don’t feel that I share my feelings openly. You will know by my body language that I am upset or mad but I get really quiet and don’t like to talk about it. I tend to go off to be by myself. ESFJs are also described as being “hyper-vigilant” when it comes to safety and seeing the world as a dangerous place. I don’t feel this describes me at all. After completing both the DISC and JUNG Typology assessments, there are many outcomes that I found interesting. For starters, in the DISC assessment there were multiple categories that gave me various feedback. These included decisive, interactive, stabilizing, and cautious categories. My decisive score showed moderately low on the “D” spectrum and I thought that was very accurate. I tend to be hesitant on sharing my opinions in big group setting and I also would rather support someone else’s decisions rather than argue with them unless they are completely wrong.…

A great leader must be an effective communicator in order to lead a group of people in order to accomplish a goal or vision.…
