Justice Council is made up with members from the community that all come from unique backgrounds, varying in: race, gender, class and education. The ability I was given to work with members of the community and attempt to help others. I was given the opportunity to bring the screening of Paper Tigers to Bozeman this past spring through my position on Justice Council. Additionally, I was able to attend many training seminars about domestic violence victims and the experiences they are faced with. My passion to work with others has grown immensely this past semester and I think it has narrowed my future interests to work with kids that have been involved in adverse child experiences (ACE’s). This internship has lead me to develop a better understanding of my futures career goals to pursue after graduation. Furthermore, I have gained a deep appreciation for the people that work in the criminal justice system. It is an emotionally exhausting job and I’m grateful I was able to become more educated about what really goes
