The 13th amendment is probably the most important out of these 3 because it is the abolishment of slavery which was the biggest problem back then for African Americans. Again with all that is happening this year with our controversial presidential election it is important to have our own opinion on how the government operates. Many argued that the things Trump was saying were offensive and outrageous. For example my mom was telling me “How could someone have the courage to say those things on live tv.” I was looking at videos the day after and it really did surprise me how he was planning to build a “wall” along the border to keep immigrants out of the country.
