Every human being is aware of the fact that climate change is one of the greatest threats to our world. All of us want to live in a safe world for ourselves, next generations and the rest of life on Earth. Unfortunately, we are already observing the effects of climate change such as rising sea levels, global temperature rise, warming oceans, shrinking ice sheets, glacial retreat, ocean acidification and extreme events. It is also known that the increased levels of greenhouse gases must cause the Earth to warm. So, there are a lot of changes that fluctuate from time to time. Fortunately, there are Earth-orbiting satellites and other technological advances that …show more content…
Most environment problems are thought to be human induced. The climate change is not a problem of several countries, it is a problem that relates to all of us and therefore we should cooperate with each other in order to keep everything in control. As a result, there is the United Nations (UN) intergovernmental organization that promote international cooperation which also makes a huge contribution into tackling climate change. Consequently, th UN conducts conferences and formal meetings that held in framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC). Thus, the UN can observe and regulate the process in dealing with climate change and also find the measures in reducing greenhouse gas emissions all over the world. As for this, I found out that there is The Kyoto Protocol, an international treaty, which is interested in minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and its main purpose is to prevent the world from global warming as man-made carbon dioxide emissions have caused it. The Protocol’s first commitment period started in 2008 and ended in 2012.A second commitment period, known as Doha Amendment, in which I have revealed that my country Kazakhstan participate. I am proud that my country managed to …show more content…
It is stated that the Earth’s average temperature has increased about 1 degree Fahrenheit during the 20th century. This may sound insignificant but these slight changes in temperature correspond to evident changes in the environment. And what can society do in this case? First of all, society has to be informed enough and has to adapt to environment changes. Then, society can build new technology that will be contributive in dealing with climate change. It also can raise taxes and gained money can be given into tackling climate change. Most importantly people have to regulate industry as human production of greenhouse is warming our planet. However, people are still skeptical about the risks of climate change as they are mostly invisible. As for me, I have decided to read a lot on it and in the future I want to help the government raise taxes so that they could put that money into the fund that will consider the climate change. Countries all over the world should join and do best in order to find out best measures despite having political conflicts as the tackling climate change can be successfully implemented by cooperation and dedication to common
