In the natural sciences, knowledge is tested based on experiments and how useful it truly is in reality. The scientific method is vital in the natural sciences because it is repeatable and gives us the chance to plan the experiment first and then move on to start doing it. The scientific method allows us to formulate ideas and back them with sufficient evidence. Even though, the scientific method is not guaranteed to give us the correct answer, it helps us to get close to it. It truly helps us to improve our existing model of the universe and to learn from our mistakes.
