That would be such an underrated and low way to bash any group. Prejudice is where someone or something is judged without reason, or any actual experience. But for a stereotype you have had the experience of possibly one single individual but expanded that one experience to the group or the organization. Discrimination is more of a hate thing, but also being derogatory and going for a specific type of person possibly in the group not the group in general. Proven in this online article, Differences Between Stereotypes and Prejudice, “Prejudice is based on negative feelings towards people belonging to other groups but showing favor towards people belonging to one’s groups whereas in Stereotypes this characteristic cannot be seen.” Many individuals have misinterpreted the true meaning of a stereotype and prejudice. Rallys or any special events ASB makes are viewed by three different people and it all ties into a different kinds of students at school. The first person is the creator, the second person is the enthusiastic, and the third person is the spectator. The creator is the one that put on the show, the art, the diagrams, the events, etc. Then the enthusiastic is the one that is in between but actually enjoys the event these certain students are usually screaming and involved by either being in a event or just with their school spirit. And lastly the spectator usually the one that makes the stereotypes and misconceptions of ASB, these students are the ones that just observe and never show support to the event. For students in ASB they are prepared from when the process begins when those students decide to sign up into the class. These students sign a contract with certain rules that must be followed and it all leads to their responsibilities, and what the school is also reliable for which helps to keep it up front with everyone. A main reason is because sometimes these misconceptions are so bashing and could be seen as a threat by students that they also must know what could possible be told and it reassures the school that this will not cause a problem with the ASB student.
