Standing for the National Anthem shows respect to our country and the soldiers who have fought and died for our freedom. The Nation should be united in appreciation to those who have protected our country. We sing the National Anthem as a tribute to symbolize our passion to the country. When people chose not to stand for the National Anthem, it shows that their not thankful. Also if they choose not to stand, they are just a disappointment to our nation as a country.
To start with, standing for the National Anthem shows respect to our country. Our country is not perfect, but when you stand for the National Anthem, it shows respect and appreciation for our freedom that the country provides. When you don't stand for the National Anthem, you are disrespecting the country who has given freedom. The country is an important part of the world and deserves to be respected. The least you could do is stand for the National Anthem. Which is Americans showing respect to the country.
