2- Shooting guard:
The shooting guard needs to have good coordination skills and control over the ball as well as balance as they are required to throw the ball to their teammates, steal the ball from their opponents and shoot on behalf of the team. The majority of the points scored in a match is gained by the shooting guard.
3- Small forward:
Small forward are not assigned to one particular role, they are very flexible on the court. They should be robust as they are repeatedly in defence and tall as well as having good hand coordination when aiming for the hoop as they may be shooting from a distance or may be surrounding the hoop.
