The setting takes a big part in a story. The environment can help specify important information. Setting can also be very descriptive as in a dark place or a bright sunny day. Setting also helps you understand the story more. It can also effect the behavior of a character and how that character is feeling that day. When writing stories most writers need to know the world where their story takes place. The way writers make stories more interesting is they move scenes and do not stay in one place. For example the story “The Devil and Tom walker” include a variety of different scenes. Each scene will have an impact on the story. The book is clues and is not very blunt but honestly that is how books are supposed to be it brings on excitement and gives you a reason to want to figure out the cliff hangers and find out how the story ends. The story includes many different scenes at different locations the description of the settings also help us understand the book more and helps the reader understand certain situations without the author having to tell us for example in “The Great Gatsby”the author describes daisy and toms house and the reader can automatically assume that daisy and tom are loaded with money from their families that have been rich for centuries used as the term “Old Money”. When writing scenes it is important to keep in mind what is going on with your characters and where they are at. Where the story takes place will change the story in many
