Importance Of Senior Year In High School

My senior year in high school was in Charlotte North Carolina, growing up I would never have guessed that I would be graduating down south. I am originally from Buffalo New York, I moved to Abingdon Maryland around age six and then lastly to Charlotte about halfway through junior year. Moving to Charlotte was a huge transition for me in the aspect of a culture shock as well as different level of maturity. As much as I hated moving to Charlotte I am thankful because It changed a lot about me for the better. It took me moving away to see how stagnant the people around me were. I gained a E-board position in Fashion inc and contributed to the most development we have had in the past five years. An active member in 100 Black woman, where I participate in at least fifteen-twenty hours of community service monthly. I have two retail oriented jobs where i 've established a great foundation of my work ethic. I am continuing to develop my resume and portfolio to help streamline the process graduate school applications. Next, semester is a time for a lot of action for my future, I need one class to graduate and I need to make more time for graduate school financing and planning. I can take that single class and drop to part time, which will substantially reduce my financial aid and void my housing. This can be obtainable only if I am hired for the full time management position that has opened up at my job. I would then be able to afford off campus housing for the remainder of the school year and the summer as well as save money for graduate school. If things work out in my favor I will be enrolling in North Carolina State University 's, Global Luxury Management graduate program.
