How To Receive Self Reflection

Self-reflection has been useful throughout the last blocks. I have put effort to apply self-reflection in my daily and academic life. I checked whether I have done my reading for academic skills or not to measure my readiness to participate in the discussion more actively. I highlighted what I have done correctly and my mistakes. I gauged my weakness and tried to make it up by doing things that showed my strength instead, such as writing with more interesting sentences. Professionally, self-reflection is rewarding. It helps me into becoming the student I envision. This is mostly because I personally find it hard to use a system to assess myself, and self-reflection provides that service.
Looking past the few months, my time management skill has improved. Self-regulated learning has made gambling with a deadline no longer an option. My main obstacle for this is how to motivate myself to continue on my progress. I am capable enough to motivate myself to get started, but as soon as I see the amount of work that I should do, I get easily discouraged. However, I feel guilty each day of not doing the work I am supposed to be doing. So far, the best way I can overcome this dilemma is by trying to feel like I am not forced in what I am studying. Identifying the types of pseudoscience helped me to not be responsible for that as a potential primary producer of scientific source. Learning about other people’s culture helped me socialise better with other students and aware of my own biases so that I could not act them out. Professionally, it brought me a higher awareness of scientific sources and fallacies while reading an article. I also learned to argue for the literature’s perspective instead of just citing it. In order to think more scientifically, I should refrain from jumping into conclusions so immediately; especially in situations in which the causalities are not
