This is completely stupid to me because she can be whoever she wants, and if that is her personality, then that is her personality.Alexandra is popular in Maycomb because she takes a leading role in the feminine social circles, she also has a strong belief in streaks. During these times I know they saw a crime, and thought of someone and found every way to blame them. When Mr.Tate asked Mr.Ewell's daughter who done it, he recommended Mr.Robinson, and she agreed then he arrested him. Atticus questions the witness, he asks if Mr. Tate called a doctor to help with the Ewell girl's injuries, and he says no. Then Atticus asks him to describe the injuries, which were bruises and a black eye.When Atticus asks Tate another question, he described the injuries in better detail saying that the black eye was on the right side of her face and that it was very discolored, and that there were handprints all around her throat area that maybe implies a lot of force and choking.
