Stricter regulations for safety equipment and operation procedures need to be enforced in commercial factories because, neglecting proper safety procedures leads to serious consequences such as loss of revenue for businesses and employees, expensive lawsuits and in some cases, serious injury or death.
In any Trade or Industry Safety is essential and can save many lives from accidents. Safety should never be taken lightly and should be enforced at all times. The most common places for Injuries are these three Industries : Construction , Logging and Manufacturing/ Food processing.

One story of not following the lockout tagout safety procedure is when an employer did not provide lockout/tagout equipment to maintenance mechanics.Serious injury or death was inevitable and the company was fined $66,000 fine for failure to follow safety regulations.
In the Construction Industry the law requires that employer make sure that there are no dangerous hazards in the workplace , but can also affect people who are off the job. There has been many cases of faulty construction equipment.
One example is the way the equipment is manufactured faulty construction equipment the manufacturers are mostly to blame for defective equipment.
