This study aims to remove obstacles carried out by the state for regional rural development and sustainability. That means the heritage, culture, characteristics, and qualities of rural settlements will be preserved while these areas will be developed. The study will emphasize the importance of agriculture and how to integrate it with the wide lands and open spaces that characterize rural areas.
When mass tourism began along the seaside areas, people believe there will be few limitations in regards with natural resources. These resources were considered renewable. To sustain the growth and demand of tourism, the quality of the “product” must be constantly enhanced, marketed effectively, and adaptable to the changing demands of the market. Tourism has to be linked and integrated with rural life to create real benefits for the people, the economy, and the environment of the rural community. There is always risk that rural tourism will fail and even damage the people and the place without the said integration.
The importance of rural tourism is continuously growing but it is still considered a small sector. The reason for this is rural tourism is mostly centered on cities and seaside areas. If the government and the tourism based businesses want to create new regions for the industry, they have to develop rural areas which had little developments to contribute to the industry.
Rural tourism can have a high impact in developing the economy of rural regions. More than the gross output and increasing employment numbers, the economic benefits of rural tourism can have a bigger and wider reach. There are also social and cultural benefits including the increased communication between the locals and
