Projectile weapons that are capable of harming a mass of people in the matter of seconds should be kept out of the hand of the public for safety. Gun laws and restriction should be placed to limit the amount of guns in society. Limiting guns would decrease the crime rate, suicide rate and death toll in America. Restrictions and background checks should also be placed on people who are suicidal, mentally ill, and anyone with a criminal record. Enforcement needs to be tight so illegal firearms are caught and taken. This will prevent the public from being harmed due to a careless act of violence.

What you need and what you want are to basic and very straight forward ideals. Having a firearm that’s maximum capacity is eight rounds to protect your family or go hunting for sport should be allowed with proper care and safety to protect the user and people around them. Owning any other gun is simply careless. Even if you don’t plan to use it for a destructive purpose somebody else does and if they get their hands on it the will do exactly that. Gun laws are not to restrict citizens of owning their “natural birth right” but they are and should be in place to protect more innocent lives from being
