As a health counselor, it is my obligation as a health provider and Christian to provide them with the best care I can give. God says to do all things for His glory (I Corinthians 10:31). I believe that if I show God’s love to my clients it will set me apart from other health providers and may even help my clients even more with their health struggle. As a health researcher I believe that God can be shown through my research and how I compose my research. As a Certified Health Education Specialist I am bound by a certain code of ethics (Code of Ethics). Following these along with God’s Word in my research has the ability to show that God is in the works. If I were to become a personal trainer, leaning on God and sticking to a trainer’s ethics is very important because trainer-client innuendos are common in the personal training. Personal training I believe holds the most temptation, but if God is in the center of my life I believe that personal training could have a great impact on a client’s life both physically and spiritually. As it says in Philippians 2:12-13, “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose” (NIV). This verse can be applied to all three on these vocations. If I lean on God through everything I do, I will for fill what he has intended for
