Importance Of Pursuing A Degree In A Criminal Justice Career

Do you like more money in your pocket? Are you a hard worker and do you love to do the thing that you live on a daily basis? Well pursuing your degree in your career choice is the right decision for you. For the sake of my paper, I want to use a criminal justice career just as an example. The reason why I choose this career is that it hits close to home with me. To give you a bit of background information; my mom worked in criminal justice for twenty-five years without a bachelor’s degree. Of course, back in her day, a college degree wasn’t as predominant or necessary to excel in her career choice. As she got older and wanted to move to a particular position in her career, she quickly realized that nowadays you cannot got that far without her college degree. This was hard for her because she hadn’t been to school for more that twenty years before she decided to go back. She is still currently enrolled at the University of Phoenix, and just last week she shared with me some of the benefits that she can already see that her degree is going to get her. Study’s from the University of Christian Colorado, have proven that individuals who have their college degree n tier career choice made almost on hundred and fifty thousand more dollars in their lifetime as opposed to people who don’t.
