My Religious Beliefs

I come from Houston TX and I carry a Middle Eastern background with a mixture of both modern and traditional family value. Through having both modern and traditional views in life I feel I am able to conceive, a wider array of religious points of view and apply them to my life accordingly. With my religious outlook towards life, I have come to learn that I have much strength but none stronger than holding to my faith and believing in those that I love or myself. Along with my strengths, I have come to learn about my weaknesses and none of them is as dis-hearting to me as losing your desire to attend religious services. I feel the reason I lost my passion in attending religious services came about when I initially was injured on active duty …show more content…
Even though there wasn’t a strong supporting factor in place at the Air University, I did enjoy the hands-on approach to learning in addition to the professional atmosphere, but with keeping a professional image I felt that I had to give up a lot of freedom (e.g. having a curfew at all times, unable to wear what I want). Along with giving up freedom, the military made it difficult to build a bond with each of my instructors in hopes of learning from their experience as the course was extremely accelerate in hopes of putting us into the operational field and continuing our education there. Once I completed my studies and graduated, I felt it was time for me to apply myself in a personal passion of computers to gain a degree and GCU fit as a sought after school. I admire that my friend offered this information to me without me needing to compensate him in any manner. To achieve his success he started by operating as an customer service representative in the I.T. (Information Technology) career field which allowed him to acquire early hands-on experience now that he is pursing his bachelor degree he feels capable of mentoring any up-and-comer in this profession. With the assistance of my friend, I can see myself in 10 years as having a solid hold on my career field as well as completed my post-graduate degree and possible mentoring any future students of this profession. After remaining in the profession for 20 years, I look forward to slowing down around my management position and inspiring my employees to mentor their entry-level workforce to make sure that the I.T. career is ever lasting long after I am gone. I would define success through gaining direct or in-direct recognition from my colleagues towards my accomplishments in the career field because of sharpening the means of how the job is undertaken in addition to the future leaders I inspired by way of guiding their careers. Once I achieved my goals, I will know that I achieved success by means of my pay and the career field
