With psychology, you most likely have to go into grad school. So I had to ask myself would I want to continue after my undergrad and go to grad school, or be completely done after 4 years. A part of me does not want to go to grad school. But I may change my mind. Also, the job availability is not very high unless I continued into grad school. But, there are still jobs available even if I don’t want to go to grad school. Psychology is interesting, it involves the human mind. Why do behave the way they do. But just because it involves the human mind doesn’t mean I have to get involved with the clinical aspect of psychology. There are things like Social work, counseling. I asked about internships. She said there are some available but it depends what you are interested in doing with a major in psychology. Some areas of internships are rare.
