Nowadays, environmental problems have become the number one issue for us, such as Climate change, global warming or invasive species, whether it is small or significant, they all affect our day to day life in some extent. As the individual, we must take care our mother earth, we don’t need to establish extensive programs or invest lots of money to protect the environments, but we can do small things in our daily life, such as planting trees, etc. Protecting the environment is our responsibility. Protecting our local forest is a massive milestone for us because it tells us how vital and necessary it is to maintain ecological balance. Since plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, we need to make sure that they are not killing each other by block one’s access to sunlight. It’s also an excellent way to reduce the risk of flood, soil dilution and improve air quality. During the removing process, we also picked up trash and woods on the ground. The trash need to be collected and cleaned in time because it will bring soil contamination. Some hazardous chemicals which get into the soil which in the long term will harm plants through their roots. Leaves on the ground can improve land nutrition. Fallen leaves make fertile composts that enrich the soil. A sustainable environment is essential for both human health and plants well-being. Everyone needs to make their efforts to keep positive interactions with environments around them.
