A positive attitude in health care is not a choice, it’s a necessity. The benefits of having a positive attitude could increase the probability of optimum performance. When performing at your best, you can achieve the ultimate goal of helping your patients find the healing and the healthy lifestyle they are in search of. Positive attitude could also reduce the accidents or incidents in the facility. When you aren’t in the right mind set, you aren’t focused. By having a positive attitude, it could bring a good reputation as well as help with advancing your career. People with positive attitudes are better at handling stress and are more constructive in approaching uneasy situations. When it comes to attitude, I know that I am in control of my own emotions. I know that having a bad attitude in life will not get you very far. That is why it is always best leave all the issues at the door and to keep a friendly smile on your face. Most likely the answer would be no. Using initiative in the workplace is not just a way to help your company be more successful, it is also a way to get your employer to recognize you as a key asset. Showing initiative in the work place is important because it shows that you value your work. Initiative correlates strongly with personal achievement and professional development. The act of taking personal responsibility for growth in the work place is a clear sign of your capacity to develop into a leader. A couple of things to keep in mind are to always be alert for ways to make something work better. Volunteer to take ownership to make sure the job gets done. And to always think ahead.
