Importance of Planning in an Organization
It is very crucial for an organization to have plans to achieve goals, because out there in corporate America, the competitors are vicious. It’s a dog eat dog world, so when preparing to have a successful business one must have strategies on hand, to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. One must implement plans to stay one step ahead of your competition, by setting a game plan, where your mission, values, and goals come in to play. First of all the company would need to start with their employees, are they leadership material, and can they inspire others to follow them in the direction the company needs to go? Second what plans are we going to implement to make sure our goals are on their way to being achieved? There are multiple types of planning used to reach goals, such as Strategic, Tactical, Operational, and Contingency plans. In my paper I will address two major ways of planning, how it effects the growth of an organization, when companies use these types of planning, along with why it is important.
Leadership and Planning
Let us take a look at leadership, and why it is important to have the right leader in the position when planning for the success of an organization.
