This innovation will increase the competency level of the nurses in my facility while providing safe care. In addition, nurses’ confidence and skills will increase in addition to their retention. Technology savvy students with different cultural backgrounds, nationalities, learning styles, strengths, and levels of eagerness can be more in control and have instant feedback through technology and flipped classrooms that utilize different simulation innovations. The nursing staff will demonstrate the learned concepts and understanding of those concepts through the simulation rather than a lecture style where their knowledge is evaluated according to the memorization of concepts, processes and facts. This innovation helps the students use their critical thinking skills, their clinical reasoning and their clinical imagination in scenarios that have happened or could potentially happen in each specialty unit like the critical care, the emergency department or labor and
