My field observations took place at Renaissance Charter School at Central Palm. I honestly had a wonderful experience and I really enjoyed my time there. I was assigned to Ms. Pickholtz’s 1st grade class. When I first arrived to the charter school I was extremely nervous and a little anxious because just the thought of actually helping a teacher run a class seemed scary to me because I felt like I would do a horrible job at it. However, I was welcomed by both the teacher and the class…

Passing over the threshold into the Hopkins County Central High School, it felt as if it was the inaugural day of school all over once more. Walking the halls of the very same school that I attended in years 2000-2004, brought back so many memories. Equally, I was walking down memory lane, I had to soon realize that now my character has changed. Today, I am walking as a soon to be a teacher. It felt so weird, being on the grownup side of life today, thus I stood face-to-face with a thought, “Are you certain this is what you desire to do?”…
