After obtaining my degree, I will be able to apply for an occupation in Human Services. Having a degree shows, I have the knowledge and training required for a career in this profession. Appropriate attire is required in every business and it is important you dress accordingly. Following the policies and procedures of a work place shows the ability to perform the job requirements. Arriving on time to work, appointments, and meetings displays an act of importance of professionalism. Meetings in a professional setting expect you to arrive in a timely manner, be prepared, organized, and record accurate notes. It is important to keep in mind, you should display a polite and respectful role in and out of the work place are of significance in professionalism. Relationships with clients and co-workers should always be handled in a respectful and professional manner. Attaining a good or bad reputation will follow you for the rest of your career. Having a bad reputation can damage professional relationships in your career and ruin everything you have worked for.
