Using the democratic process to make decisions on who our next candidates or laws and acts our following candidates want to change in the next election. News media is a significant part of today’s culture. Which keeps our society well-informed about the political issues and topics discussed in order for us to seek change. News media is a large outlet of information for us to keep up with local, state, nation, and world news. Media plays roles in many others parts of life other than political. But these media outlets are what keep people entertained or informed of what’s happening in the world. News media I think would help to improve the government. Today, news media is still running a great course of informing people of actions going on all over the world. Political news media in the U.S today is a race of who gets the most hashtags and retweets to get their votes for their upcoming election. Nowadays if you want to learn about your candidates you follow them on social media and hear the bad or good things they’ve done over the time. With hearing that one-bit of gossip makes you change your views on them. Social media is the beginning of how politics will be ran in the future to come.
