Importance Of My College Life In College

My College Life When I first decided I would attend Kansas State University I was filled with anticipation. Coming from a very small town one of my biggest concerns was that the university would be too large. I was told many times by representatives that Kansas State University was a large university with a small feel. I never thought that that was a true statement until I started my college experience. Overall I am very pleased with my college choice and would recommend Kansas State all individuals looking to continue their knowledge. Like I recently stated I grew up in a very small town so I expected college to be overwhelming. I expected that on my first day of classes I would be worried about various things. To my amazement I had no worries in the world walking into my classes for the very first time. I believe that this is because of how welcome I felt at Kansas State University from day one. In high school I carried a 4.0 for all four years. Because of this I feel a great weight on my shoulders of performing at the same level while in college. This has not been an easy task for me. In high school I worked hard to maintain my 4.0 GPA but college is a whole different level. I would describe it as going to classes and then coming home and teaching yourself the material you learned in class. This was something I never had to do in high school so it is a challenge for me currently. Another difficult task for me will be finals because in high school we were never required to take the final. I am not very good at dealing with stress so finals worry me greatly. Also knowing that finals reflect my final grades greatly worries me. This is why I am working so hard to keep my grades as high as possible before it is time for me to take my
