First Lego Robotics Research Paper

The decision on which you set is to be your life’s course for the future is not one to be made lightly; one should be confident when choosing his own choices. So how did I decide on which path to follow for my higher education? Even when I started my high school education I only had an inkling of what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I guess what career I was going to study for really was shaped by the clubs I was in younger years. From there it was an easy conclusion to come to that I would like to either become some sort of engineer, whether mechanical or electrical, or a programmer/computer scientist. In both elementary and middle school I was on the FIRST Lego robotics team. It was there that I first got an idea what I would want to do with the rest of my life. I greatly enjoyed both parts of the process that came with competing in the robotic competitions, both the programming and the building/designing of the robots; even if it was just graphical instead of text based programming.

I liked to program, but was beginning to have doubts about whether or not I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing that. During the summer, before my last year of high school, I helped teach a summer course to middle school age students that dealt with engineering and robotics.
