Good morning everyone. I’m sure that we all need money. Although money is just a piece of paper but it is so powerful. Most of us think that there’s nothing more powerful than money because money can give you all that can be purchased in life, which brings along happiness. However, there is also the saying “money can’t buy happiness”. So, does money bring happiness? From my own perspective, I strongly believe that money could not bring the true happiness. However, you will never feel that getting money is free if you work for a long period of time. Everyone works hard for money in order to get a good income and improve their lives. Also, there are peoples who have a lot of money but still feel miserable. Despite having a lot of money, they always worried about the money will be stolen by others. Will you still think those peoples are truly happy? According to Myanmar Times (2017), a happy family does not depend on being poor or rich. It depends on the understanding between each other and how you value your life. I am not saying that money is completely unimportant, but you need to start looking at it differently. I would like to end by quoting: “Don’t let any economist bully you into believing money is all that matters. And don’t let a psychologist bully you into believing that money is completely unimportant.” It means that don’t let money becomes your motive and control your life, but don’t fully ignore that it is meaningless.
