Although by senior year many of us hate school or prison if you want to call it that we seem to forget to recognize the amazing times and lessons we get out of it. Lessons like always remembering your school id because the bathroom lady in the d wing is a pshyco and does not accept drivers licenses apparently. Was being in school the best moment of my life no, but it definatley was the reason for some of the best moments. As for becoming a better person, I think Sachem has helped. It has allowed me to to join clubs such as the Student Ambassadors Workshop and help people within the community all of the time. I think one of my best experiences was meeting this little old man who looked like the guy from Up at Arbors. He told me about his life as a firefighter and how all of his friends died in 911. He then went on to say his two daughters dropped him at Arbors years ago and never came to visit. He looked at me with tear filled eyes and hugged me saying you have no idea how much this means to me. How much you effected my day and how much you touched my heart. Without recognizing, it was actually the old man who touched mine. For me, That was a moment to be remembered and would not have happened without the help of this
