Meditation, key to Happy Healthy Life!!
Life is not easy they say. It’s full of stress, tensions, and competitions. Everyone wants happiness in life. Although the definition about happiness changes from person to person; but the ultimate goal in Life is Happiness, Peace. And everyone would agree that good health is the very prerequisite of living life happily. That’s why we say “Health is Wealth”. A human being can achieve success; can become rich, but what’s the point if he cannot enjoy his success, assets or possessions due to his poor health?

Then gradually we can increase this duration to 15-20 minutes and then to 1 hour. But this has to be achieved effortlessly; not forcibly. You can decide any time for the meditation as per your convenience; may be early in the morning before sunrise or in the afternoon or in the evening before sunset. Only the thing is you should keep the continuity following that time. The place to meditate should be clean and quiet without any outside disturbance. Just sit quietly in any comfortable posture. Close your eyes and just visualize any of your favorite pictures like sunrise, or GOD or waterfall, anything. In the beginning many thoughts will come in your mind. You might get diverted but once you realize this just again concentrate on your picture.
Or you may simply count numbers from 1 to 5 and then in reverse order from 5 to 1. Your mind might jump from one thought to another and forget the sequence. Again concentrate on counting. You can also do this by counting your breath inhale and exhale.
Visualization method is the most effective method of meditation. In this method, you just have to visualize about your dreams or desires that you want to achieve in life. For example, if you want to buy a new home then visualize that you have already got your dream home and you are actually living in it! Or if you want to get promotion in your profession then imagine that you have already got that promotion and you are working with your subordinates. Due to this, you create vibes of positive thinking and you feel happy. You will soon realize that your dream has actually come true!
If you are not comfortable sitting for longer duration then you can do meditation in sleeping position on a mat. But take care that you do not fall
