Managing global teams and networks This chapter focuses on teams and why it is important for team to communicate, work together, shared their knowledge, ideas and trust their groups members. Teams are the part of an organization and a good team is the back bone of the successful organization. Team is a group of people who works together to achieve a task or specific project goals. “Product and work teams “this teams is also with the in define duration of the time, but this team have definite and clear deliverable, this teams regularly works in a team’s together every day. “Service teams” this tem also have indefinite duration, have clear membership goals to serve other people and work regularly to provide supports to other example HR or IT. “Action teams” teams have define duration and this team is important specially in emergency and teams member of this team work together in fast and fluid way for quick responses. It’s hard for manager to manager all teams in the same etiquette, that is why team are dividend in to different groups, so it’s easy for managers to works together with different teams and develop refined view of possibilities. Every team is different because it is made of different people who come from different culture and countries. This factor makes every team unique and different from other teams. Furthermore, it also describe the Virtual teams are member who work with technology instead of face to face. Many of the professional or team members work with different virtual teams at the same time. It is hart to manage virtual teams because it is new and hard for manger to understand to control those teams and challenges they faces are; dispersed configuration and diverse composition. Dispersed configuration is the first reason of failure is distributions they are distributed continuously by communication and conference due to bad network service or different types of networks, bad weather etc. it is hard for them to communicate means hard to define their point of view their ideas and goals or suggestions to other teams members. It’s make team unorganized.
