Malcolm Baldrige Core Values Analysis

The Malcolm Baldrige core values focus on helping organizations to be effective and improve performance. These values have been well known by professional business men and women around the world as well as recognized by modern organizations. The Malcolm Baldrige “values and concepts are the foundation for integrating key business requirements within a results-oriented framework. The values and concepts are the embedded beliefs and behaviors found in high performing organizations. They are the foundation for integrating key business requirements within a results-orientated framework that creates a basis for action and feedback” (Anttila, n.d.) . These Malcolm Baldrige values and concepts are a set of criteria with the purpose that helps build an individual or an organization. In my experience, these concepts have and will continue to help me throughout my experiences during my business career as well as through the remaining of my education. I decided to pursue a degree in Business Management in 2011. It has been a long process to develop and get to where I am now. This process has not been easy, but it has been well worth the struggle. My decision to go to college originated well before I chose my degree plan. This started with my own core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. These …show more content…
The Baldrige core value of Focus on results and creating value puts focus on this important aspect of running a business. Every organization has its main core competencies used to produce results (revenue in most cases) which are then used to create value. Organizations that can create value and build on that value become great organizations who know and understand how to be a contributing part of their communities.
