The power of passion is undeniably one of the most intense and powerful emotions the human race is capable of feeling. Being able to feel and experience emotion is a blessing life grants to every one of us. Our feelings bring us together as human beings. Our feelings are capable of creating friendships and relationships, as well as enemies and wars. However, without the two we would not be able to have that perfect balance essential to life. Without enemies, how could one fully appreciate our friendships and our loved ones? It would be a pity for something so precious, to be taken for granted so easily. After my high school graduation in 2015, I immediately wanted to change my lifestyle for the better. I knew throwing away all my toxic habits that were created during my high school years would help tremendously with my personal growth. I was determined to live a healthy and nurturing lifestyle. Due to my intense interest I had for law, I majored in paralegal studies during my first semester of college. I specifically chose paralegal studies because I knew it would be the most beneficial route in preparing me for law school, if I were to do so in the future. Being eighteen and right out of high school, I was still learning responsibility and time management. These traits are important to all full time students. Studying law during my first semester of college created a tremendous amount of commitment and time, all motivated by my passion for law. Many times I found myself intimidated by my older classmates and legal professor. Many more times, I found myself overwhelmed by the tremendous amount of daily reading assignments and difficult projects. During that period of constant stress, I still diligently studied for hours and hours, perfecting every case I briefed and reviewed over every law I learned. As tired as I was from the many sleepless nights of studying and briefing, I still enjoyed every moment of it. This was my passion and I was constantly driven unconsciously through the power of passion. It gave me a sense of purpose that motivated me to do my best and to keep on going.
