I didn’t know that the answer has to come in a book. So my aunt gifted me a book called The Secret by Rhonda Bryne. I am one of the readers that do not want to cheat with a book and read each and every line in it by heart. As I started the book it seemed to be boring but when I read the first chapter that it is the secret of life and what a life is meant to be. And the question triggered into my mind. I was so excited to finish the book, but then I thought the question that I was been holding for such a long time now seems to be coming towards me so I should give it a time. I was so excited for the answer that I almost want to skip the page, but I waited for it to come because of I really wanted to experience it. I think a book is nothing without experiencing it. Reading and experiencing anything is not the same. To read is something is what we easily can forget but experiencing or learning something we cannot, for it is internal not external. Life is what you make of it and it means that life goes through us as we create it. So as if now I know that it’s me who did it not someone else. Someone cannot do anything for you, except can help you to keep going in your very way of life. I get to

After finishing the English 101 course I feel like I have accomplished many of the goals that I was challenged with the beginning of the course, such as critically thinking and reading with text from the textbook “Dialogues” by Gary Goshgarian, substantively replying to my peers to understand their point of views from the text and to get a better understanding of a rhetorical argument. Thinking and reading critically were very important this whole course. Thinking and reading critically were something you would have to do in every assignment that was given. Incorporating it in every assignment has helped us greatly improve week by week and betters our understanding of each topic and the assignments main idea.…

Everyone hates English class is what I thought before taking English 102. However, that may have been the case before I entered Dr. Byrd’s domain, but after finishing the class I have come to the realization that English class can be greatly resourceful. English 102 this year has had its ups and downs, and I must admit the ups outweigh the downs. Meaning, this year, I have learned that I am not a student who wants to read or write, but through reading and writing my mind and skill sets concerning English have grown. During English 102 this year, reading and writing in class helped me expand my writing skills, improved my will to comprehend, and most importantly helped expand my knowledge.…

Three years into my high school I hadn't gotten into the state of mind that most over achievers have. I had floated through high school thinking I was trying my very hardest to get good grades and become a consistently studious candidate of my school. However, no matter how hard I tried I failed I gave into all the distractions and used all my obstacles as excuses became frustrated and developed an attitude problem that I had created myself. Being a consistent 2.5 student wasn't satisfying or inspiring. Uniquely enough, I had decided to take challenging courses my junior year.…

In the end, I can reflect that I learned from my mistakes and wrote papers that took time and dedication to accomplish. I learned from this class to be confident in my writing and make all the mistakes to receive the grade I want in the end.…

English 2010 has been a learning experience for me, I've been able to learn a lot about english that I did not know or work on before. With the first essay that we worked on I did a memoir I really enjoyed working on this paper, In class we were able to get freedom to add pictures to are pictures make it a little bit more creative I certainly was not used to this; I’ve been told my whole schooling experience that you have the intro and the conclusion and three body paragraphs.
