I grew up with the tradition of calling each people’s names before I eat, and I even say ‘hi’ to every people that either I just knew or even I already knew for a long period of time. My shameless traits has become somewhat a benefit to my education life, as I want to take Marketing major.

As someone who is vigorously active, I started to participate as a part of the students’ union during my senior high school period. As I was trained to become open with each other and started to become someone that is able to listen to other people’s opinion, I was elected to become one of the senator of the DASB, De Anza Student Body, and the public relation officer of the UNICEF club. As the senator of the student body, I was interested in persisting my previous career in high school, which was creating big events. As a result, I volunteered myself in joining the Diversity and Events department and started to participate in the DASB events such as, an open mic day, Martin Luther King day, Presidents day, and etc. Similarly, as the public relation officer of the UNICEF club, I had the responsibility to promote and contact the students of De Anza to participate in our volunteer events such as making an event in the Ronald McDonald children house and participating in the breast cancer walk annually. Statistically, I was able to attract about 50 people to join both my events from the DASB and the UNICEF club. Thus, I can conclude that I have this ability to compile students and get well on with each other.

For example, my risk-taking attitude in blending in a new community that was totally different from my own country, joining the

The leadership role in which I have had the greatest positive influence in has been as the Fine Arts Commissioner in ASB. As the Fine Arts Commissioner, it is my responsibility to showcase the performing arts in any way I possibly can, and while I have successfully done that, I’ve also successfully created a new rally that now occurs every year. Even though last year was my first year on ASB, I still made an impact on my school by taking charge of said new rally. My ASB director wanted to try having an on-campus winter dance before winter break and we figured the best way to promote the new dance would be through a rally. In addition, my ASB director didn’t want to have cheer and dance perform in this rally, for they perform in every other…

It was April 15th, 2013 and I was the 15-year-old, innocent sophomore with a perfect record, sitting in the principal’s office waiting for my punishment.
