Job rotation is an interesting way because it makes it possible for the firm to observe employees in action in different positions and then learn which job fits each employee best. In today competitive world, considering new methods is inevitable for creation of efficiency in organizations. New methods of job design encourage managers to adapt environmental, technological changes and better responsibility to beneficiaries needs and to increase work motivation of employees and to skill variation. Job rotations provide employees a environment to learn about different types of work, provide individual employees a better sense of what their co-workers do and a better overall understanding of the whole organization. Job rotation involves the rotation of employees through a range of jobs to increase interest and skills. Job rotation can improve different skills and also involves the need for greater training. This approach improve the activities of a worker by switching them around a range of work. Let look at the example, an administrative employee may spend some of the week looking after the reception area of a company, dealing with customers and handling the customer’s complaints. Sometime may be spend for managing the company telephone system and then input data into the database so means different jobs are done by the employees in the same organization.
