If a cadet or officer respects the authority they follow, they will be more willing to cooperate and listen to that authority. Just listening to the authority though isn't enough, the person needs to have the discipline to follow that authority. Every military personnel should have discipline, if not, they won't follow anything and try things that will end in disaster. Disaster can be avoided though if this cadet is intelligent and organized.
These are probably the most important of all the qualities, intelligent and organized. A cadet or officer must have these because it will spread to those around him and help him in leading and setting an example. Intelligent will allow the cadet to see a situation and solve it while organization will allow the cadet or officer find all the necessary equipment to solve or fix the situation.
