Integrity can be defined as the quality of being honest, and having strong moral principles and uprightness. It is the state of being whole and undivided, the word integrity comes from the same Latin root as integer and implies a wholeness of a person. Just as we would talk about a whole number, we can also talk about a whole person who is undivided. A person of integrity lives rightly, he/ she is not divided, neither are they a different person in different circumstances. Excellence work hand in hand with integrity, the character of an individual can be judged by what they do when no one is watching. A person who still strives to do things with excellence even when no one else notices, is a person with integrity. He or she is a person who can be trusted. Everyone ought to possess integrity, but a Christian leader undergoes greater public scrutiny, without one. Integrity is considered the embodiment and application of character. It is the demonstration of who we in Christ, Jesus has called us to integrity which means we are able to be true to our words as a testimony to our faith in him. Everything we do as Christians must be in truthfulness, honesty, and with integrity, as we are representing Christ who is lives in us. Consistent integrity is essential for a Christian leader who claims Christ as their lord and saviour. Many at times Christians quote various scriptures, but often struggle with living a life of integrity. The question we should ask ourselves as Christian leaders is "What does the Bible say about integrity?" The Bible makes us understand that In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word translated “integrity” meaning “the condition of being without blemish, completeness, perfection, sincerity, soundness, uprightness, wholeness.” Integrity in the New Testament means “honesty and good
