Everybody has planned something in their life, for example, a holiday for good fun or a job task forms a start time to finish. From all these examples, the “plan “is used to achieve an aim and prevent potential problems before they take place. Hence this same process will apply to the IQA schematics to ensure the product and customers are on the correct path.
As I mentioned in assessment 1.1 the main aspect of the quality control system is to monitor and checking the quality of a product or service to ensure that it consistently meets specified standards of an Awarding Organization. To be able to obtain positive outcome from “internal quality assurance procedures “the following steps as IQA need to determine: what is to be assessed in relation to unit, type of assessments, numbers of tutors and assessors involve in the qualification, as they experience within the content of the delivered qualification, are all learners working towards their qualification. As of qualifications are clear to a tutors/assessors, i.e.
Sample planning based on the principles of ‘CAMERA’ which will include a number of different formats. IQA will recognize the 5 types of sampling methods, such as Interim or formative sampling. This takes place while the learner is still on the program and the program has not yet been completed by group or cohort. On new program, or with the inexperienced assessor, it is often carried out after a short period of time. On the one-year program, for example, .it might take place two months into the program or when the learners have completed two units of qualification. The iqa will sample one unit or learning outcome across all the learners and all the assessors. This enables a comparison to be made between how different tutors and or assessors are delivering the same unit to different learners in different locations.it is a good way of identifying consistencies –or inconsistencies –in approach working methods decision marking and feedback.
Horizontal sampling
This is the most commonly used type of IQA sampling. Over a period of time, the IQA plans and samples something from every unit or learning outcomes across a qualification or program.it results in an overall picture of how things are progress
Theme-based sampling
This is only used irregularly by IQA, as it is a less extensive type of simpling .it tends to be used on stable programs that have already been subject to a lot of inspection and where few issues have been found .whith this method one activity ,or type of evidence is samplined across tutors assessors, learners or sites.
