Honor, Courage, And Commitment Analysis

Honor, Courage, and Commitment; was written proudly on the walls in the NJROTC classroom. First time stepping into this room as a 9th grader with so many students "well leaders" in front of me with so much honor to be here and so much courage written all over them. Our Commander was so proud, and you can really see that she really like her position to have the whole entire ROTC cabinet. Being in 9th grade and in a whole new school with so much to withhold everything came naturally. Leadership is one of the qualities that I was created and molded to be. The first thing I was taught about becoming a leader is first knowing yourself and what you want out of life. Being a leader comes with some risk because some leaders follow every rule or have …show more content…
In my life being a leader was something that I was required of from my mother and other role models, most other leaders. They always said that I had something special about me from my crissum and the way I carry myself. Through my life, I was told that the more people/friends you have the more distraction from the real propose and goals. Which I found out it is very true, therefore, I stayed to myself even though I had friends, the reason why was because I took little things that they did wrong and made sure I did not go through their footsteps. While learning and taking everything in I learned that people really don't want to see other's wins or advance in life. I had so many and still to this day they want me to fail. Being a leader also come with this great quality, which it's never step down to someone that sees something in you that they do have. With the knowledge of knowing that's it's nothing wrong with knowing that from your position that everyone was made different to change something out of …show more content…
I may not know every answer and every step but I'm willing to fight every battle that comes my way. As a leader and someone one day, everyone will know me and until that day comes I have to practice my craft and perfect it. Not everyone has the courage to become a leader because leaders fail a lot in life. Which that's the thing no one like to keep failing they rather take a road of easiness and something that everyone is doing, it's like a trend if it dies they will hop on the next trend. With me being and becoming a better leader I want to fail and see's what I did and didn't do for me not to get it. So that I can have a greater future and know that I did everything that I can to have a strong surrounding future. One of the biggest things in my faith with my religion. I'm not perfect but I try my best to make sure I keep the one above in my life and all things will come. One wise man told the world "DON'T WORRY" worrying is something that you should never worry about because if you believe in the one above everything and anything is possible through faith and not by sight. The man above put his strongest leader's out into to the world with nothing. The reason for that is because he is building their craft through hard time and trails to see if they realize what they were put on earth to be. So being a leader is something that is built within thee, I'm glad to

For the last several years, I have tried to answer the question of what makes someone a leader. I once viewed a leader as someone with a position of power, who commands those under them to achieve victory. I have since discovered that this is not what makes a leader a leader. I found that not every person with power is a leader. I grew enough to notice what I could not before: people’s motives.…

Strictly speaking, I never really be a leader. I personally didn’t have many opportunities or the desire to be a leader. This is about my personality, but I do want to push myself a little and have some experiences before I start my career. The closest title that I ever had as a leader was the Vice President of service for Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) in my previous college. When I was offered the opportunity, I knew I had to take the responsibility because I thought that could be my first time being a leader.…

From someone not under the responsibility of a leadership role, it may seem like a wonderful job, since they can escape from the usual workload that a non-leader has to put up with, and have authority over others. Yet, they tend to overlook the amount of dedication and self-evaluation that a leader has to go through in order for their group to succeed. One must better and uphold themselves to a high standard in order to be an efficient leader, and not for power alone. They must have a wide knowledge of their position and patience to help others in case an issue or situation arises. When things go wrong, the leader, not the group, is blamed, and often is the one that pays for the consequences that their peers have done under their watch.…
