With each class that enters my class I face new and different challenges that requires me to grow and challenge my teaching philosophy. The students who sit in front of me have dramatically changed and became a part of my life. With each student I have taught they have became a part of my life and will always be in my heart. I hope each one will take something from my class and use it in their future, but the most important is I hope students fill intrinsically motivated to learn and became educated about their interests. At the end of the year I hope students don’t feel overwhelmed from the assessments, and know that school is more than assessments and test. As each student walks out of my classroom and I begin getting ready for the next class I continue to learn and become a better teacher for my students. At the end of the day I might worry about the purpose of schooling, diversity in the classroom, the physical environment and atmosphere, classroom management, communication with parents, curriculum planning, instructional strategies, and assessments. Balancing all of these different aspects is what matters. As teachers we cannot get caught up in classroom management or environment, but we need a balance that allows of these different aspects to become a part of our teaching style. Who we are as teachers is what matters and as teachers, we need to embrace what makes us unique teachers because that will allow us to be better
